Speaking about IMMINENT ATTACK http://vile76.blogspot.com/2011/12/imminent-attack-miracilous-power-7-1988.html in one of my previous posts makes me think about this 12"...
This record is one of the best US heavy/speed metal releases from the early 80's in my opinion (with JAG PANZER : 1st 12", VIXEN : 12" or HAWAII : 1st LP)...
At least, it's not ridiculous to listen to it again after so much years...
This 12"'s first track is a short intro called "The door". Then comes "Prepare to die" which is and excellent HEAVY/SPEED metal track but with the magic touch of the riffs...
And this is the same for the three others tracks.
The guitars have some nice riffs the solo's aren't bad at all (I don't like solos, so if I write that, I'm certainly right, ha,ha,ha...).
All the songs are very nicely played and this album is a gem for any heavy/speed and thrash metal fan
After a demo and this 12", this band released a LP in 1988 (old recordings) with the name San Antonio SLAYER (S. A. SLAYER) because SLAYER from LA wanted to keep the rights of the band name...
I saw that this release has been posted a few on the net but, as I wanted to listen to it after so much years, it was also interesting to post it...
And, as usual with VIOLATION blog, you can certify by now that you do have the real ripp from the original vinyl with every picture. There's no insert with my copy but I think there's no insert with this release as the infos are printed on back cover...
It's sometimes good to listen to anything else, but that's not a reason to listen to shit, so download this rare and cult record directly ripped from the original vinyl here :
