JERRY'S KIDZ : Fantastic early 80's American Hardcore punk band from Albuquerque, New Mexico.

 

Both original versions of their great 7". Both cassettes are from old TAPE trading that I customized. Never seen the original artworks (if they are any ?...).

SS 20 : Excellent mid 80's tight powerful catchy and melodic US thrash ’n’ hardcore punk from Ohio, Cincinnati.

 

The LP cassette version has one bonus track. I LOVE this band but I missed their "Daddy's drunk on X-mas" 7" from 1988 (for some reasons...), so, if someone has a spare copy or do want trade his own, just get in touch and we'll try to work about something... 😉

PROLETARIAT : Fantastic early 80's US Hardcore Punk band from Boston, MA.

 

Picture 1 is their original 7-song "Distortion" 1982 demo TAPE + Live Radio WERS 1981 & 1983.
The 1982 Demo TAPE is an excellent job all the way down the line. Real cool packaging and great music, an amazing release!
The live radio sets cassette is from old tape trading. I customized it from what I gather (picture) in the 2000's. Awesome and very early (1981 + 1983).

Picture 2 is a shot about their both orignal vinyls LP's ( from 1983 and 1986).
1st LP mixed several straightforward punk blasts in with the other stuff. A fabulous record!
On the picture, you can see both originals 1983 pressings. According to discogs, 1st pressing is without tracklisting printed on back cover, but, to be honest, I seriously think that it's maybe more a misspressing than a real pressing (?) so hard to find it is. Who really knows...

In fact, each time I saw (and see) it in records stores or on net lists, it was (is) the repressing, even if it's the original from 1983... Take care about sellers on the net cause a lot of them are selling it without any distinction and once you're asking about details, they realised that they just listed it without any attention about 1st or 2nd pressing.

Second LP is excellent as well and the addition of two vocalists is kind of cool and makes things a little more interesting... Very interesting to listen to... Attractive + catchy music.

On the picture, their 2-song 1985 7" is missing. I was not a fan at that time, so, I did sell it. Maybe I'll buy it again, a day...

KHADAFI YOUTH : Demo TAPE - 1985 (USA, Pennsylvania). Here again, one more cassette from the 80's to reissue on vinyl!

 

Loud, distorted, sizzling guitar and dirge-oriented bass beats dominate the majority of this sixteen-song crazed dosage of thrash. The rawness of the music is representative of the anger that this band feels toward the typical punk rebel topics. Heavy, rough garage-type production but loud as hell.

Мир (Мihr) : USA, Virginia, Roanake. Demo TAPE 1985 recently reissued on vinyl. Better late than never to pay tribute to such a great session...

 

CORROSION OF CONFORMITY : I like the early days of this US band from Raleigh, North Carolina.

 

The cassettes are their 6-song Demo TAPE, the famous "No Core" Comp. TAPE, the Caroline "6 songs with Mike singing" TAPE version and a 4-song practice (from the old TAPE trading days).

About the vinyls, you know what they are...

For some reasons, I've sold "Animosity" LP and "Technocracy" 12" in the 90's, and I never bought them again?? One day maybe...

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS : Lexington, Kentucky, USA. Great underrated 80's US hardcore punk band... Still obscure but classics releases at the same time!

 

CHRONIC DISORDER : Early 80's US fast hardcore punk from South Windsor, Connecticut. Intensive and energetic!

 

MURDER INC. III / M.O.G : Split Demo TAPE Excellent 1984 cassette by these two cult 80's HC punk Dutch bands. Very nice booklet cover as well...

 

BOBWIRE : Total underestimated 80's HC punk Dutch band who released 3 good LP's as well. This 1984 Demo TAPE is my fave by them and it's very interesting to listen to it!

 

GØTEFIX : "Living suitcases on core" Demo TAPE, 1985, NETHERLANDS, Tegelen. Mid 80's Dutch fast HC punk. Still obscure but so great...

 

C.K.N. (Creatieve Kippenaaiers) : Demo TAPE 1985 (NETHERLANDS, Alkmaar).

 

Absolute killer fast mid 80's Dutch punk hardcore 20-song Demo TAPE.
Definitely one of the best + wildest European session from that time!

ANAL TERROR : "The final error" Demo TAPE 1987 (NETHERLANDS, Rijnland).

 

Terrible name but do not mistaken. Here we have solid fast Dutch hardcore punk.
I've sold a spare copy on discogs recently... The Dutch guy seemed to know very well what he bought!

PEACEFUL PROTEST : 7" - 1997 - (JAPAN). The Japanese SHITLICKERS! Fast, noisy, tight hardcore punk... Very short session but very enjoyable!

 

CRISIS C : "Nihil Obstat" Demo TAPE 1985, NETHERLANDS, Maastricht.

 

Great fast hardcore punk. Nothing to say more here except that this is one of the best Demo TAPE from NETHERLANDS!

SWAMPSURFERS : Demo TAPE 1987 (NETHERLANDS)

 

Famous band cause their both LP's are on HAGELAND RECORDS, a great Belgium label mainly active in the second part of the 80's. This Demo TAPE is still obscure a lot and that's what I like best about them...

ZWAAR KLOTE / INCEST : Split Demo TAPE 1984 (Venlo NETHERLANDS). Classic and still obscure at the same time released on a cult label.

 

Tight, fast and powerful hardcore punk by these two short-lived bands from the early 80's Dutch scene (Venlo). Members of Pandemonium, Disgust, Gore among others...

PARALISIS PERMANENTE : SPAIN. I like Spanish punk and hardcore but this band has something very special for me, at least their early materials! This is punk like only a few bands were able to play it, spontaneous, total catchy... The kind of riffs that remain firmly planted deep in the head. You can be sure after listening tracks such as "Autosuficiencia", "Un dia en Texas", "Unidos" or "Jugando a las cartas en el cementerio".

I never had a chance to own the 1st pressing of the split 7" on TIC TAC, it's too much rare + expensive but I prefer this cover (second pressing)... we console ourselves as best we can!

About "El acto" LP, for some reasons, I never found a copy despite all these years.

I'm not a fan of their third 7", so...

T.P.U. : Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Very good interesting solid US hardcore punk from the second part of the 80's. Still obscure a lot...

 

Is there anyone who can provide info(s) about recording + artwork (or not?) for their 1986 Demo TAPE ?

Given the "ridiculous" (or deserved... ??) crazy prices charged today for a lot of classics... How is it possible that these aren't in the most expensives?
Anyway, what about the prices, they were (and still are) essentials in decent hc / punk collection that are worthy of the name!

Great minimalist 1981 German punk for the OUT OF ORDER : 7" while the LP (also from 1981) sounds like some of the best early classics UK punk stuff. OUT OF OUR HEADS : 7", (from 1981 as well) is a band with members of OUT OF ORDER and AHEADS. They came together just for this excellent punk EP.

THE BUTTOCKS : Hamburg, GERMANY.

 

Old classics that I own for a very long time... Each time I play them, it's amazing cause I cannot help but think that this is 1979 and 1980! Perfect transition from punk to punk Hardcore, great time!
